Wacker Neuson’s New DV45 Puts Dumper Drivers in a Spin
We first caught sight of Wacker Neuson’s latest Dual View offering at Bauma last year, a machine, which in my opinion, is virtually going to revolutionize the small site dumper market.
Ever since the launch of the original 6 & 9-tonne Dual View site dumpers, Wacker Neuson have been leading the way in modern fully cabbed site dumper technology. One of the biggest gripes we have heard from end users about those models is the fact that the operator has to manually move the seat around, but with the launch of the DV45 that manual procedure has been eliminated.
With the DV45 the operator can now rotate the cab through 180o with just the touch of a button. This set-up allows the operator to get an unrivalled view around the machine, and when in Multi View mode, the dumper can be operated with the cab rotated sideways, giving the operator a great view into a trench for instance when pouring in pipe bedding or concrete.
Other Dual View features are also included like the Hill-Hold function which prevents the dumper from rolling away if the foot is taken off the accelerator. Further safety enhancements include grade monitoring alerts to prevent rollovers from unsafe use on steep inclines. An auto skip return to transport button is a great addition too, so lots of safety and ease of use features built-in.
