On Grade with Bobcat
One of the highlights of any visit to Bobcat’s vast campus in Dobris, Czech Republic, is a demonstration of the company’s tracked compact loader with grader attachment.
For many of us, this compact tracked loader and grader combination will always bring back memories of the legendary Bobcat demonstration operator, Dutchman Robby Bosch, who had a long and distinguished career with Bobcat, having started with them back in 1975 before retiring in 2019 after his final appearance at a Bauma trade fair in Munich.
Robby was of course, skilled on all the Bobcat products, but it was always this set up that he clearly enjoyed demonstrating over the years.
Naturally time marches on and new people take over, so these days the product is often demonstrated by Zdenek Bruzek who is a Field Product Trainer based at the Bobcat Institute in Dobris, and who talks us through the product in the video below.
Compact Tracked Loaders, along with wheeled skidsteers previously, are extremely popular in the United States but often over looked in Europe, but the amount of work a skilled operator can turn out in a day with one of these is incredible, and with a wide range of attachments available too, they really are a Swiss Army knife style product.
It’s a machine I really enjoy having a play in during my visits to Bobcat in the Czech Republic I must say!
