Win a Hidromek excavator model
Following the Digger Man Blog’s recent visit to Turkish construction machinery manufacturer Hidromek, I am delighted to announce another free to enter competition to win a scale model of one of the company’s machines, which they have kindly donated as a prize.
This stunning new model of what is currently the largest Hidromek excavator in full production, the HMK370LCHD has been commissioned by Hidromek and is manufactured in 1/40 scale by Motorart. Regular readers of the Digger Man Blog will recall I was fortunate to be taken to the impressive Isparta marble quarry in the Antalya region of Turkey earlier this year, where a large fleet of these machines were working in rugged conditions that would test any machine to the maximum. This ambitious and exciting company have big plans for the next ten years, with a vision to become a “Global Brand” in the construction machinery industry. The first stage of this plan has already come to fruition with last week’s announcement of the takeover of the Mitsubishi grader business, with future plans to manufacture a wheeled loader range already on the drawing board. I would not be surprised if mini excavators are a future target too, which as we all know is big business these days.
So let’s get down to business, with the question.
Hidromek was first established in a 200m2 workshop facility in Ankara where they first made digging and loading attachments for farm tractors, but in what year did this take place?
A) 1968
B) 1978
C) 1988
D) 1998
To be entered into the draw please send your answer including your name and address to nickydrew16 at btinternet.com using the usual @ email format.
The draw will take place on the 1st January 2014 and the winner will be announced on the Digger Man Blog, after which your prize will be despatched direct from the Hidromek facility in Ankara. All that remains for me to do is to wish you all the very best of luck.
