Rocky Road Ahead

Turkey seems to be a popular place for videos of excavators loading massive rocks into totally inadequate trucks and once more we see that being done in this clip. There must be a reason as to why these rocks are not being broken up into more manageable pieces? Maybe they are being used for sea defence work installing groins and the like, but I’m just speculating there. With the load being so top heavy on a relatively small truck one can imagine the driver is in for a bit of a hairy ride. I’m pretty certain there must have been plenty of dramas with these trucks transporting these giant lumps in the past, not one for the faint hearted I’m sure!
