Bauma the Undisputed Big One!
Its Bauma time once again, as the triennial Bavarian construction equipment machinery fest opens its doors again from today Monday 7th of April and runs until Sunday 13th April.
Bauma, which takes place at its spiritual home of the Messe Munchen exhibition centre in Munich, is world’s largest trade fair for construction machinery, building equipment, mining machines, attachments and quite literally everything else in between.
The 2025 edition will feature over 3,500 exhibitors from 57 countries around the globe, who will be showcasing their latest products across a whopping 614,000 square metres of exhibition space, with 150 of those exhibitors making their first appearance at a Bauma event.
For anyone who has never attended Bauma, its hard to comprehend the absolute vastness of the show, the outdoor space alone covers some 37,260 square metres, while the mammoth halls cover some 18,000 square metres.
I recently had a lad contact me to ask if it could be done in one day, while I admire his enthusiasm the genuine answer is really you can only see the tip of the iceberg in one day. Personally, I can only afford to spend 3.5 days at the show this time around, usually I’m there for at least 5 days, so it will have to be a whirlwind tour for me on this occasion, but that’s better than not being there at all!
Anyone who is anyone in the construction equipment sector is set to attend joining fellow visitors from over 200 countries, in what is always a truly global event.

This will be my 5th time attending Bauma and I have some commitments to attend too, but in between times, I will be getting around to as many stands as I can, and hopefully sharing some coverage on the various Digger Man Blog social media channels.
