Big Blue Amphibian Good to Go!

The guys down under at BrisVegas Machinery reached out on Instagram to tell me about a stunning machine they have delivered to EzyQuip Hire.

Regular readers of this blog, will recall that BrisVegas are the main Kobelco dealers for the Queensland area in Australia, and you might also remember the feature we did on Jimmy Starbucks stunning pink Kobelco SK135SR back in 2023.

Today though, we are very much focused on the blue, and this epic 30-tonne class Kobelco SK300LC which has been mounted on an EIK amphibious undercarriage, possibly an AM350-3 model, which has a maximum track length of 38’ 10” and a track gauge of 16” 6”.

The machine has since joined the fleet of family-based company EzyQuip Hire operating out of their Toowoomba branch, one of six depots across the region. By their very nature, these machines are designed to go into places others would fear to tread, its exciting to see them go about their business, but always a little bit scary in my opinion, lets hope this example doesn’t face any dramas in the future!
