Came across this video over the weekend and thought it might be of interest to the Digger Man Blog readership.

Ultratex is a Malaysian based amphibious excavator manufacturer building undercarriages for machines ranging from 5 tonne to 40 tonnes. The company use base machines from all major manufacturers and sharp-eyed readers and fans of the "red & grey" might note that despite the outrageous colour scheme, the machine in this video footage is in fact a Takeuchi TB250. In the footage it would appear that this is the first outing for this particular Ultratex AT50. You would have thought that the customer would have found a better place to access the river than this. Its an uneasy watch as he climbs over the wall to start his descent into the canal, will he make it in one piece?
