First TD-15M Series-2 Lands

While we await the much-anticipated production models of the radical new TD-16N dozer which we saw during Conexpo-Con Agg in Las Vegas, the latest upgrade of Dressta’s long established TD-15M dozer is now out and the first example of the Series-2 machine in the UK has arrived at LiuGong Direct UK’s Portsmouth headquarters.

Weighing in at between 20.6 to 21.6 tonnes, depending on specification, the TD-15M Series-2 is powered by a Stage V emissions compliant Cummins diesel engine, which produces a power output rating of 190hp. Blade capacity ranges from 3.8m³ to 5.7m³ depending on the specified blade configuration.

The machine will be offered with various track options including Standard (STD), Wide Track (WT), Long Track (LT), or the increasingly popular Low Ground Pressure (LGP) options. In addition, a heavy-duty Landfill Application track frame version is also expected to be available.

Described as a powerful dozer with precise control, this medium sized dozer is aimed at road construction jobs, land clearance, and general construction site applications.

This machine features an all-new cab designed in a joint venture with design teams in China and at the Polish Dressta factory in Stalowa Wola. This cab features high levels of operator comfort, which is further enhanced by the addition of the new electro-hydraulic system controls.
