LiuGong Mini Excavator straight from the Horse’s Mouth

Hereford based business C.J. Clack Mini Digger Hire has been running a LiuGong 9018F mini excavator for just over a year now, and he is certainly very impressed with it so far, so much so that he recently popped a video up on You Tube and on his Instagram account singing the praises of this mighty little mini machine.

With an operating weight of 1800kgs, the 9018F was one of a new range of LiuGong mini excavators that were officially launched at the last ConExpo-Con/Agg show in Las Vegas during 2020. The machines, designed by the UK based design team, have gone on to be very popular with big fleet operations, and especially so with owner operators who are looking for a competitive edge financially.

As Chris Clack alludes to in his video below, under the skin, the machine is brimming with top quality components from leading blue-chip manufacturers. Power comes from the popular and well proven Stage V emissions compliant Yanmar 3-cylinder diesel engine, which offers a power output rating of 13.4kw (18hp) @2,200rpm.

The load-sensing variable displacement hydraulic pump provides a maximum oil flow of 55 L/min. Two speed tracking provides to top speed of 4.5km/h while the lower setting provides a more leisurely speed of 2.7km/h. Slew speed is a lively 9.5rpm.
