Long Standing Takeuchi Customer

When I think of UK based Takeuchi brand ambassadors, our great industry friend Neil Grainger who hails from Camberley in Surrey, always springs to mind first and its not hard to see why.

Neil has been operating plant since he was 14 years old. His very first machine was a mini backhoe loader which had been bought for him by his late father. Venerable JCB 3CX’s followed before like many of us previously, Neil moved on to operating 360^o excavators.

Neil later set up his own business, initially trading under his own name, but eventually establishing the brand name of Always Digging. His first purchase in 2002 was the ever-popular Takeuchi TB016 and that machine was the catalyst for his long-standing association with the distinctive red and grey liveried Japanese built machines.  

Neil has nothing but praise for the Takeuchi brand across the board and commented, “In my opinion there is no machine to touch the Takeuchi from 1.5 tons and upwards. They are the smoothest, most responsive, and comfortable machines made, and their reliability is second to none, I have never had a warranty claim or any downtime due to breakdowns in all the time I have been running them!”.

Recently the team at Takeuchi paid a visit to see Neil at work with his machines, and shot a testimonial video in which he explains the main reasons why he has become such a loyal customer and indeed a brand ambassador.
