“Not now Kato!”

Retro test drive reports featuring old machines is something I have been thinking about for some considerable time. Well it looks like our friend Ron Horner from Australian publication Trade Earthmovers has beaten me too it.

“Not now Kato!”
I can’t deny I do enjoy these reviews from down under featuring their "old school" plant operator/presenter Ron Horner and in addition, as a fan of the old classic kit I am really pleased to see them covering some of the “old girls” from the plant scene in Australia. In this video Ron has discovered a real old classic in the form of a 1968 Kato 750G hydraulic excavator. This really is an early example from the Japanese manufacturer as the first models only started rolling off the production line a year earlier in 1967. So without further ado let’s join Ron around the machine and inside the cab on what looks like a scorching hot Australian day and find out more about a machine which he says is very dear to his heart!
The Digger Man Blog respectfully thanks Trade Earthmovers for the use of their material in this blog post.
