Hawk Plant Hire see many benefits from its Cat ejector trucks

During a recent visit to Hawk Plant Hire’s training facility in Shropshire, we talked about the latest Cat dumptruck’s to arrive on the company’s fleet, the 730C2 ejector models.

Hawk Plant Hire see many benefits from its Cat ejector trucks
With a keen focus on the safety aspects of articulated haulers, it’s great to see that Hawk Plant Hire is investing in the latest ejector body style trucks from Caterpillar. Anyone who has spent time on major construction projects will testify that it’s not uncommon to see conventional bodied ADT’s on their side, especially at safety critical times when tipping on slight inclines that can seriously affect the machines stability. As such it really is a bit of a no brainer to see that the ejector body style truck is not only a safer truck, but it also has other benefits in terms of speeding up the unloading process as it can eject material as it moves along, with no need to "park up" the dumptruck to unload, something that can really increase overall cycle times over the course of a project. There are other benefits to be gained too. With the ejector truck spreading the material on the move, it significantly cuts down the workload of bulldozers and graders offering increased fuel efficiency and further enhancing productivity. Check out this video from the guys at Finning News and Hawk Plant Hire which shows one of their machines in action.
