JCB Dancing Digger Medley

The world famous JCB Dancing Diggers are a must see for young and old and especially for anyone who is a super keen JCB enthusiast.

I have been very fortunate to have witnessed the spectacle that is the JCB Dancing Diggers on numerous occasions at shows both here in the UK and at some overseas events too, and it never fails to impress me each time I see the performance.

Young kids especially, always enjoy seeing diggers in action, and that is very evident at some of the county Shows that the JCB team perform at. Many of us, never grow out of that fascination for big yellow machinery either, its kind of like an affliction that we never get out of, much like train and aircraft spotters!

But in a way its totally understandable as these machines trundle round the show ring performing stunts along the way, it really is a sight to see, and as popular today as when it first started, all those years ago.

The idea first came about in 1962, when they used to perform stunts with a single machine, often involving JCB fleet cars being driven underneath a raised backhoe loader, but evolved into a multi machine performance.

JCB has recently posted a great video featuring highlights of the dancing diggers performances from years on gone by including performances at the factory in Rocester, during Bauma in Munich, Conexpo in Las Vegas, and the Royal Cornwall showground most recently, I am delighted to share the video in this blog post.
