Scandinavian Brothers in Arms showcase their kit at ConExpo

With the ConExpo show well into the halfway stage in Las Vegas, we take a look today at two of the Scandinavian exhibitors who are displaying their products to a keen American and International audience of visitors.

Good friends of the Digger Man Blog, Swedish tiltrotator manufacturers Engcon, are regular exhibitors at ConExpo and numerous plant and machinery exhibitions around the world, as they display their world leading tiltrotators in conjunction with a vast array of attachments to make the art of excavation, compaction and material handling so much easier as only the Swedes know how.

On this occasion, the machine of choice is the new MX14 wheeled excavator from their Scandinavian cousins from Denmark, Hydrema, who we featured on the blog earlier this week. The MX14 which is the smallest in the new MX range is being demonstrated on the Engcon stand by well-known Engcon man Sten Stromgren, and in this video we see Martin Engstrom who puts on a show for an assembled crowd of Americans. The machine is displayed with Engcon’s EC-Oil system, which allows quick hydraulic tool changes to be done, without the operator needing to leave the cab, making the machine safer and more productive all through the working day.
