Scottish Plant Operators to Rise to the Challenge
Taking place on Saturday 27th July, 44 of Scotland’s most highly skilled plant operators will go into battle to see who will be crowned Scottish Plant Operator Challenge Champion 2024.
Organised by the Scottish Plant Owners Association and building on the success of last years event, this will be a great opportunity for operators to get hands on with some of the very latest equipment and to be able to demonstrate their skills as a professional plant operator.
There is a lot more to the event too, including the plant and equipment exhibition, where local dealers and suppliers will be showcasing products from their portfolio’s. There will also be a live digging zone where those not competing in the challenge can put machines to the test and talk to the experts about them.
The event also has a family day out feel to it, with a dedicated kid’s zone featuring remote control diggers, a sand pit with ride on diggers, and a 30ft bulldozer themed bouncy castle to enjoy.
For lovers of the old classic machines from the past, incorporated into the event there will also be a vintage working plant display across the whole weekend.
