Spot the Develon Visitor at Hillhead!
Develon Europe had a significant presence at the recent Hillhead Quarry and Mining exhibition and now the dust has settled, they have released a series of awesome post event videos.
The Develon stand at Hillhead offered a great flavour of the wide range of machinery the Korean manufacturer now offers its customer base, ranging from its latest series of mini excavators up to its heavyweight excavators, the DA45-7 ADT and the DD130 from its two-model dozer line-up.
The largest crawler excavator on display was the 53-tonne DX530LC-7, and this machine was displayed perfectly matched with the Norwegian built DA45-7 articulated hauler.
On the demo area being put through their paces was the 43.5-tonne DX420LC hydraulic excavator, operated by Instagram sensation Alex Humpage aka @pidge_360 while the DA30-7 ADT was being operated by longstanding demo operator Nigel Horton.
Officially launched at ConExpo in Las Vegas last year Develon’s DD130-7, has now entered the European dozer market. The wide range of features on the new dozer provides a productive fine-grading solution for residential and light commercial construction projects.
According to Develon, one of the biggest differences between the DD130-7 and other brands is the visibility it provides of the machine’s dozer blade. To facilitate this, the front engine compartment offers a narrower design and is combined with other features that make it easier for operators to see their work.
The DX27Z-7 2.8 tonne and DX55R-7 5.7 tonne Stage V compliant models are typical of the new Develon range of mini-excavators from 1 to 10 tonne. The zero tail swing design of the DX27Z-7 and the reduced radius design of the DX55R-7 models make them ideal for confined space work.
Checkout the video produced by Develon, there are a number of familiar faces to be spotted during the video, maybe you will spot yourself!
