Stating the CASE for the CX130E
Its turning out to be a bit of a testimonial week here on the Digger Man Blog with yet another video following on from Monday’s Takeuchi themed post, this time focusing on CASE’s 13-tonne offering.
With my operators head on, I have long been a fan of both brands, but for 13-tonne and above I have to say my favourite to drive are the Sumitomo inspired CASE CX range. Of course, these machines are sold around the world sporting other brands liveries, such as the original Sumitomo in yellow, in America under the Link-Belt red and white banner, and in Europe as CASE in the familiar tan yellow. People who have been fortunate enough to visit the Sumitomo factory in Japan, report seeing all the different colours going down the production line.
They are super smooth to operate, offer a comfortable operator environment, have plenty of power when needed, and above all else the ones I have operated in the past have proven to be super reliable, what was that old saying…. “No tool box needed!”
The latest CX130E was among a whole raft of machines that were available for visitors to try out during last years UK leg of the CASE European Roadshow which took place in Derbyshire. I took the opportunity to have a spin in it and was suitably impressed, as was Rob Chesters a landscaping contractor who offers his thoughts on the machine in the video below.
