The future is definitely orange for Vincent Tractors & Plant

It’s been a busy few weeks for Vincent Tractors and Plant as they begin their expansion with two new depots in Devon (Holsworthy and Smithaleigh, Plympton). The Digger Man Blog popped along to the Holsworthy branch opening day to get a taste of the action.

The family business’s headquarters will continue to be in Fraddon, Cornwall, where VT&P have been trading for 52 years. The growth has clearly been driven by Kubota as VT&P were offered the opportunity to take on the franchise in Devon with the full range of Kubota products which includes Construction, Groundcare and Agriculture. Their new area is extensive and now covers from Lynton in North Devon down to Dawlish in the South of the county. Owner and MD Paul Vincent has been joined by his two sons Nick and Alec who have been pivotal in launching the expansion project. On Wednesday VT&P had the first of their official opening events in Holsworthy where the full range of Kubota equipment was showcased. The event was well-attended and was met with great enthusiasm with regards to what VT&P can offer. It was great to see Ken and Esme Vincent who started the business way back in 1966 in attendance. Ken can still be seen out on the road delivering. Over the last five decades VT&P have built a strong client base in Cornwall and are renowned for the service and support they offer customers. They will be looking to replicate this calibre of service in the new areas. The opening of their new depot in Smithaleigh takes place today, Tuesday 11th December from 12-8pm. The Vincent team extend a warm welcome to everyone to come and say hello, browse the machines and enjoy a hog roast.
